The 2009 AstronomyOutreach Award™ Winners Honored!

The Astronomy Outreach Award honors the best in outreach and public education in astronomy each year in four categories: Individual, Professional, Club or Society, and Special.

The 2009 recipients included Dr. Donald Parker, The Rockland Astronomical Society, Dr. Mike Reynolds and David and Wendee Levy. See press release.

Dr. Mike Reynolds is the former Executive Director of the Chabot Space and Science Center, and the first inductee to the AstronomyOutreach Hall of Fame!

AstronomyOutreach Hall of Fame™

Dr. Mike Reynolds, is the Executive Director of the Association of Lunar and Planetary Observers. He was the first AstronomyOutreach Hall of Fame inductee appointed by the organization.

Reynolds invites anyone who wishes to understand more about our solar system to join A.L.P.O.
