On the occasion of the 2009 International Year of Astronomy, at the UNESCO World Headquarters in Paris. Scott Roberts from Explore Scientific signs a special cooporation agreement with Walter Erdelen, UNESCO's Assistant Director General for Science, and Yolanda Berenguer UNESCO's Space Education Programme Coordinator to produce the UNESCO - Explore Scientific Air-Spaced Doublet AR Series refracting telescopes for Astronomy and Space Science outreach in developing countries.
