SIA Expo

The Annual SIA (Science Imaging and Astronomy) Expo is held each year in October at Pierce College in Woodland Hills, California. The event was established by Farah Payan of Woodland Hills Camera & Telescopes and Pierce College.
An official AstronomyOutreach network event, SIA is free and open to the public. The event features exhibits from telescope manufacturers, non-profit educational outreach organizations, space artists and photographers. Other activities that are part of SIA Expo include lectures from renowned astronomers and scientists, and hands on demonstrations of the latest astronomy gear and viewings of the sun through safe filtered telescopes.
Restricted donations to the AstronomyOutreach network supporting the SIA Expo are welcome.
