Toledo Astronomical Assn. Inc. is dedicated to the promotion of astronomy as a hobby and as a profession. The Association conducts regular meetings, star parties, and organizes viewing opportunities for schools, youth groups, civic organizations and the general public.

Clubs and Certification Programs
The Toledo Astronomical Association maintains an email list to assist those who wish to meet up with others for ad hoc observing sessions. The method of use of this mail group is for anyone to announce their interest in observing at a specified time and place. Interested persons can reply to such postings to confirm participation in the same session.
Outreach
The Astronomical League has a rich history of education and public outreach in astronomy from sponsoring the famous Astronomy Day event that is celebrated around the world by planetariums, clubs, and individuals. Through the coordination of for-the-public hands-on astronomical viewing events by members of its federation, through its annual Astronomical League Conventions, and through its numerous awards and certification programs.
